Terms

These terms govern use of LinePort, a Moosh Works product operated by Daniel Hallman. LinePort is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

The service

LinePort connects the Messages app on one paired Mac to CRM Conversations for human-sent 1:1 iMessage or SMS messages. The current service supports outbound text and the first supported photo, plus supported inbound text, photos, video, tapbacks, and voice replies. Group chats, bulk messaging, workflows, contact import, and message-history backfill are not supported.

Your requirements

You need a compatible Mac that remains signed into Messages, online, and awake while LinePort is active. Full Disk Access is required for inbound replies. Messages in iCloud is recommended so the Mac stays in sync with an iPhone, but it is not required to send from the Mac. One Mac can be paired to a business account at a time; pairing another Mac replaces the previous connection.

Acceptable use

Delivery and availability

Blue-bubble delivery depends on the recipient being reachable through iMessage and on the paired Mac remaining available. Phone-number sends use iMessage or SMS through Messages; email handles are iMessage-only. SMS requires Text Message Forwarding and may use the customer’s carrier or mobile plan. LinePort does not promise delivery, read receipts, typing indicators, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Supported behavior may change when Apple, macOS, the connected CRM platform, carriers, or related services change.

Company account management

A company may authorize multiple business accounts, but each account remains a separate subscription and uses its own paired Mac. LinePort does not combine contacts, credentials, or message traffic between accounts.

Marketplace billing

Paid plans, trials, subscription status, payment failures, cancellation, and applicable charges are handled through the app marketplace. LinePort does not use a separate checkout. Sending may be paused while payment is pending or failed and stops when the app is uninstalled.

Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend access when an account violates these terms, creates security or abuse risk, or requires suspension to protect customers or the service. You may stop using LinePort by disconnecting the Mac and uninstalling the app from the CRM business account.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinePort is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted service, delivery, compatibility, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and alternative communication methods.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daniel Hallman, operating as Moosh Works, will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from LinePort. Any aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid for LinePort during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes

We may update the service or these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
