LinePort routes personal 1:1 Messages conversations through one paired Mac into a CRM contact thread. This page explains the information needed to provide that service.
Information LinePort uses
- The business account where LinePort is installed, including existing contacts and conversation threads.
- The Messages identity already active on the paired Mac, including the iPhone number or Apple Account used for personal 1:1 replies.
- New 1:1 message text and supported media after pairing. LinePort does not import older Messages history, Mac contacts, or group chats.
- Device and readiness information such as the Mac name, Online state, Messages sign-in state, SMS forwarding state, and whether LinePort can read replies.
- Installation, subscription, and payment state supplied by the app marketplace.
- The confirmed service used by Messages—iMessage or SMS—so LinePort can add accurate contact-channel tags and show diagnostics.
How messages move
Outbound iMessage or SMS text and the first supported photo pass through LinePort’s relay so the paired Mac can send them. New inbound text and supported media pass through the relay so they can be added to the matching CRM contact thread. LinePort does not create a contact for an unknown sender.
Mac permissions
Full Disk Access is required for LinePort to read new replies and attachments from Messages. Without it, outbound sending may still work, but inbound replies will not be available to LinePort. Messages must already be signed in. Messages in iCloud is recommended for synchronization with an iPhone, but it is not required to send from the Mac.
Voice transcripts
When a local English transcript is available on the paired Mac, LinePort can include that text with an inbound voice reply. Transcription is best-effort and is designed to run locally on the Mac.
Company account management
When a company authorizes multiple business accounts, LinePort stores the account relationships and the status needed to manage each one. The private account dashboard uses a signed, expiring browser session and does not combine contacts or conversations between accounts.
Retention and deletion
- After an outbound send reaches a delivered or failed result, LinePort removes the relay copy of its message body and attachment URL.
- Pairing and duplicate-suppression records include expiration data and are used only for account security, retry control, and duplicate prevention.
- Application logs are designed to record operational outcomes without message text.
- Uninstalling LinePort removes the paired device, OAuth credentials, pending relay messages, pairing records, thread mappings, and duplicate-suppression records for that business account. A minimal uninstall and billing record may remain for fraud prevention and reinstall handling.
Service providers
LinePort uses cloud infrastructure and the connected CRM services needed to read existing contacts, update conversation threads, and receive app lifecycle events. Apple and the connected CRM platform operate their own services under their own privacy terms.
Your choices
You can stop new traffic by disconnecting the Mac or uninstalling LinePort from the business account. To request deletion of remaining account data, email support@lineport.app with the business-account name.
