Mac + CRM Conversations
Same account.
Same blue bubbles.
One CRM inbox.
Keep using the iPhone number or Apple Account already active in Messages on your Mac. Write each 1:1 reply from the customer’s CRM conversation, and see new supported replies in that same thread.
Blue bubbles require iMessage availability. Other phone-number messages may use SMS when Text Message Forwarding is enabled; carrier charges may apply.

Your Messages account, inside your CRM
Keep the identity your customers already know.
Your team stays in the contact conversation while the paired Mac sends from the number or Apple Account already active in Messages.
Send from Conversations
Select LinePort as the conversation provider and write a normal 1:1 reply. Phone numbers use the service available to Messages—iMessage or SMS—and LinePort also routes the first attached photo.
Bring rich replies back
New text, supported photos and video, and tapbacks return to the existing contact thread. Voice messages can include a local English transcript.
Know the channel and readiness
The menu-bar app shows the connected account, sending identity, SMS forwarding, Full Disk Access, and whether the Mac is online.
Write every message yourself
LinePort supports personal 1:1 replies. It does not send workflow messages, campaigns, or repeated outreach across many contacts.
- Human-written replies
- One contact at a time
- No campaigns or workflows
Tag the confirmed channel
LinePort adds imessage or sms only after Messages confirms the service. A contact can have both tags over time.
Manage connected accounts
Install across multiple CRM business accounts and see each account’s own Mac, sending identity, Messages status, SMS readiness, reply access, and billing state.
Setup
Connect a Mac in three steps.
One paired Mac powers one business account. Re-pairing intentionally replaces the previous Mac.
-
1
Install LinePort
Install LinePort on the business account, sign into Messages on the Mac, download LinePort, and move it to Applications.
-
2
Pair with a 24-hour code
Open the setup page from your business account and click Open LinePort to pair. The menu-bar app confirms the connected account.
-
3
Grant access and go online
Enable Full Disk Access so replies can be read, turn on launch at login, and keep the Mac awake while connected.
Designed for personal follow-up
Built for human follow-up—not mass outreach.
Use LinePort when a customer already knows your iPhone number or Apple Account and your team needs that conversation in the CRM. It works with existing contacts and starts with new messages after pairing.
LinePort does

- Match known phone and email handles

- Manage multiple isolated accounts
LinePort does not
- Import your Mac contacts
- Backfill message history
- Create unknown contacts automatically
- Promise iMessage delivery to every number
- Run bulk or workflow messaging
- Import group iMessage chats
Before you install
What LinePort requires.
LinePort sends through a Mac you control. Keep it signed into Messages, online, and awake while LinePort is active.
A dedicated or reliably available Mac
The Mac must stay signed into iMessage, online, and awake. Messages in iCloud is recommended so this Mac stays in sync with your iPhone, but it is not required to send from the Mac.
Full Disk Access
macOS permission is required so LinePort can read new replies and attachments.
Existing CRM contacts
Inbound messages from unknown handles are not turned into new contacts. Add the customer first.
iMessage or SMS
Phone numbers use the service available to Messages. Email handles are iMessage-only; SMS requires Text Message Forwarding for this Mac.
FAQ
Answers before you install.
Does LinePort send both iMessage and SMS?
Yes. Phone-number sends use the service available to the Mac’s Messages app. Reachable Apple recipients can receive iMessage; other phone sends can use SMS when Text Message Forwarding is enabled. Email handles are iMessage-only.
Can LinePort send automated campaigns or workflow messages?
No. LinePort is for messages written by a person to one existing contact at a time. It does not send campaigns, workflow messages, or repeated outreach across many contacts.
Does LinePort upload my old message history?
No. It starts watching at the current point after pairing and does not backfill earlier Messages conversations into the CRM.
What happens when the Mac is offline?
New sends are rejected with a clear error rather than being shown as delivered. Reopen LinePort on the Mac, wait for Online, and send again.
How are voice messages handled?
Inbound voice messages can be attached to the contact conversation. When a local English transcript is available on the Mac, the voice reply can also include readable text.
What does Messages need before LinePort will send?
Sign into iMessage on the Mac first. In Messages → Settings → iMessage, keep the phone number or Apple Account you send from checked, and set Start new conversations from to that identity. Messages in iCloud is recommended so this Mac stays in sync with your iPhone. LinePort does not sign you into Messages.
Do I need Messages in iCloud?
No. It is not required to send a new iMessage from this Mac, but it keeps conversations in sync with your iPhone. LinePort only sees threads that appear in Messages on the paired Mac. Green SMS to your iPhone number also needs Text Message Forwarding enabled for this Mac on the iPhone.
Do group iMessage chats show up in Conversations?
No. LinePort is built for 1:1 conversations. Group iMessage threads stay on the Mac and are not imported.
What media can LinePort send and receive?
Outbound V1 sends only the first attached photo. Inbound photos, voice messages, and supported video can return to the contact thread. Each inbound file must be 5 MB or smaller after LinePort prepares it; larger video is compressed when possible and skipped if it remains over 5 MB.
Can a company manage multiple business accounts?
Yes. A company installation can authorize multiple CRM business accounts and manage them from one view. Each account keeps its own subscription, paired Mac, Messages account, contacts, and conversations.
How much does LinePort cost?
LinePort costs $19 per connected business account each month or $190 annually, with a 14-day trial. LinePort has no per-message fee; carrier charges may apply to SMS.
Is LinePort made by Apple?
No. LinePort is an independent Moosh Works product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.
